Chapter 02 · What we believe
Five principles that guide every decision we make.
We started Finwise because we believe the gap between data and decision is closed by infrastructure — not by louder UI or smarter prompts.
These are the principles that guide us:
-
Trust must be earned through correctness.
In finance, accuracy and transparency are essential. Undocumented changes, inconsistent data, and opaque adjustments erode confidence. Finwise treats data correctness, provenance, and clear correction processes as core platform capabilities — not optional features.
-
Explainability is non-negotiable.
Black-box systems are risky in financial decisions. Every insight should let users and AI systems trace where a number came from, how it was calculated, and why it changed. Explainability is what builds lasting trust.
-
We aim for the wisdom layer.
Too much time in today's markets is spent on low-level work — cleaning data, fixing pipelines, validating numbers. Finwise is designed to remove that friction so users can focus on what truly matters: analysis, insight, understanding, and better decisions.
-
We are building serious infrastructure.
Finwise is not just another finance application. We are building a stable, AI-native financial intelligence platform — with reliable contracts, deterministic logic, versioned systems, and observable processes. Something developers, analysts, and AI systems can confidently build upon.
-
Human outcomes matter most.
High-quality financial tools should not be limited to large institutions. Individual investors, independent researchers, brokers, quant developers, startups, and students across Vietnam deserve access to institutional-grade rigor — transparent, explainable, and trustworthy.
Hype-driven tools. Unstable data sources. Black-box AI wrappers.
We reject all of it.
Our core belief
Better infrastructure leads to better understanding, and better decisions.
These principles will shape every decision we make as we build Finwise.
